Life, web, and caffeine. By Pat Collins.
Prepare for third-person mode. Engage.
Left Lane is a web journal dedicated to whatever musings Pat Collins likes to express. It’s all about writing what’s on his mind. His thoughts can vary: from web design to travel, from poetry to personal experiences, all words you see here have most likely been thought up while drinking beverages with caffeine. He has a history of writing on the web, so he will be adding some classics to Left Lane that would be lost in cyberspace otherwise.
Other sites to keep an eye on:
Pat Collins is a native New Englander, now located in Pittsburgh, PA. He recently ended an educational stint at Duquesne University, earning a few degrees with concentrations in computer science and web design and development.
In 2003, he became very interested in the mission of the web standards movement. He ditched the dark world of nested HTML tables and now builds web sites with semantic HTML, CSS and a strong eye for usability. Pat believes by using these technologies and theories properly the web will be a better place to work and play for all. He’s optimistic like that.
Pat has wanted to have his own business ever since he knew what a computer was. Since he believes in the web and the potential it has to change our lives, starting his own web business is the best place to start. Enter Burned Media. Pat knows that using his skills and sharing his passion for the web can only lead to bigger and better things.
